Designs stitch letters in the hoop with cut lines. Blocks are a
bit smaller than the 2" requested by the pattern, so they fit
in multiple brand hoops. Use a scant 1/4" when sewing in. A
mid to heavy weight Tear-Away stabilizer is recommended.

Charity Work - Outreach Program
Wayside Sewing works with local quilters in creating and supplying quilts
for the Brigham and Womans neo-natal center. We accept donations of
fabrics, threads, batting and finished quilts year round. Donations can be
left next to the cradle in the classroom. We run regular quilt-a-thons and
Cut-a-thons for making quilt kits from the donated items.
FREE kits can be pick-up anytime; they are located in the cradle in the
classroom. Completed quilts can be returned whenever you have one done.
Through the generosity of donations (time and materials) of our local
quilters we have been able to deliver over 2000 quilts to the Brigham. Your
continued support is appreciated.
Remember what might be a scrap to you can be quite large for a preemie
quilt. So save those batting scraps (24" square is the average preemie quilt)
and larger fabric pieces and drop them in the cradle next time you are by.
